Who are the people who go to Paradise now? What happens to people who have backslidden and die, but, they had accepted the Lord earlier in their life?

The people who would go to Paradise now are those who believe in God but have never heard of Jesus or were exposed to what Jesus did by dying on the cross.
A person who truly was saved, as in John 3, 16 will never lose their salvation. When Jesus died on the cross, it was for all our sins, not just part of them. It was for all of our sins, past, present, and future. There is not one person who was saved by Jesus who has not sinned from the time of their salvation to when we go to Heaven. Jesus is not going to get back on the cross and die for our sins again, He did it once and said it is finished and final. We also must remember that your salvation does not depend on you; what you do, whether it is good or bad. It is all because of what Jesus already did for you through His death on the Cross.
